What we do

We design and build small-scale, sustainable architecture that blends with its surroundings and enhances daily life.

Each project, whether a garden studio, a sauna, or a landscape-integrated retreat , is crafted with intention, re-use, and care for the materials and people involved.

  1. Design-Led – Every space begins with a story, shaped around you and your setting.

  2. Sustainable – Built with natural materials, reuse principles, and local craft.

  3. Connected – Designed to deepen your connection to nature and community.

Three pillars

We currently work across Bristol, Bath, and the surrounding areas.

Garden Art Studio

“An Artist Studio that sits amongst the trees”

Built in timber and designed around existing trees and views, the studio creates a new connection between the upper lawn and the once-unused woodland area at the top of the garden. Generous glazing opens to the landscape, while soft natural light and warm finishes create a calm, creative interior.

The project embodies our belief that small, well-made spaces can transform how people live and connect with their garden.

“A thoughtfully placed studio amongst the trees, designed for quiet art sessions and peaceful views”

A wooden bookshelf with glass doors, containing neatly stacked magazines or newspapers, partly reflected on the glass, with a colorful red and orange area rug on the floor.

A rectangular window on a dark-colored wooden wall, surrounded by green foliage and partially reflected trees.
A small black stove with a glowing orange window, surrounded by a basket of smooth gray stones and a black container with a wooden stirring stick inside.

We begin every project with a simple conversation; a chance to understand your garden, how you’d like to use the space, and what inspires you. There’s no design work at this stage, just a relaxed chat to explore what might be possible.

This first step helps us see the potential of your site and begin shaping a shared vision, long before any decisions need to be made.

Start with a Conversation

What you’ll get:

  1. A sense of what’s possible in your garden, without needing drawings or decisions

  2. Early guidance on scale, uses, materials and feel — shaped around your ideas

  3. Space to ask questions and understand whether we’re the right fit for one another
